For more than 30 years, ARI has convened scientists and clinicians at its annual think tanks to advance research into the biomedical aspects of autism. ARI also funds and sponsors consensus meetings to facilitate an ongoing conversation about the latest findings and promising treatments to address medical symptoms associated with autism. Thank you for all the ways you support people with autism every day, and for preserving ARI’s independent legacy through generous donor support.
It’s an immersive event, so we can exchange ideas and share experiences. It’s priceless, because that’s the way science advances…Everything that I am learning here, I can replicate with other doctors that I know in my country.
— Dr. Mauro F. Cardosa, Instituto de Estudos em Autismo
“ARI Think Tanks give us a great idea of what research is going on that is current, before it is published. It’s a great opportunity to get ideas for new research to be done.”
— Dr. James Adams, Arizona State University, co-chair of ARI’s Scientific Advisory Board
“We have the brightest minds sitting in a room together, sharing ideas… It’s a really important collaboration that I’ve experienced. I’ve learned a lot, and I’m going to take that back to my practice so we can care for more kids.”
— Dr. Hokehe Eko MD, MPH FAAP, founder of Glow Pediatrics
